Obtain a copy of original sticker

Recommended Posts

I would bet there is an electronic copy of it somewhere that can be had. If it is a corvette you can get a copy of your window sticker pretty easily by contacting the Corvette Museum and giving them your VIN and a little money. Should be just as easy for the trucks.

I had the same issue when I purchased my truck. The original sticker was lost. My salesman told me I have to contact GM to obtain a duplicate copy. I phoned GM and they told me that my dealership can get me a copy. I asked my salesman again, armed with this information, and he discovered he was able to get me a "reissue". The word "reissue" is printed below the barcode on the bottom right-hand corner of the document. but otherwise identical to an original.

Went to the website and requested a vehicle invoice (closest to a window sticker).

This comes up after submission.

Guess I don’t see above listed email address? If it’s the social media one below disregard.

You can also email [email protected] with vin and ask for a copy of the build sheet. This will at least give you all the rpo codes. They also can send a copy service records that show warranty info, recalls preformed, and major services preformed at a stealership.

I would want the window sticker if I had a special vehicle, however, I had my dealer get me a copy of the build sheet and am very happy with that.  It has the information I want and may need.  The window sticker is not as detailed.

Not sure about a duplicate sticker/invoice request, but for a BUILD SHEET.. I contacted [email protected] with  model/year/vin number. They sent it in less than 24 hours

Any further information?

I need a new sticker (that one on the B-pillar, with the GVWR). I asked ESCVIN.com and they told me that I need the vehicle build sheet. So I mailed at GM, but they just sent me a copy and paste version in a word document.

ECSVIN then told me I need the original build sheet. Is it somewhere located in the truck? I can`t just go to the dealer as the truck is already stored in a container and on the way to europe. And we don`t have GM dealers that support US Vehicles in europe.
