Next question..

White LED strobes are illegal in NY. Citizen warning lights must be Amber.

Your state may differ, but you certainly don't want to deal with a vigilante cop trying to save the planet from the horrors of blinking white warning lights when you are trying to plow snow.

By law, your right, my lights should be amber, and honestly, I wish I went with just amber, more so for safety. I think the white washes out too much. I'm going to order Amber replacement heads for the strobes, and might add additional amber mounted lights in the front along with the white.

Hopefully not a big deal in Chi-town, but in my area of the country, NY State Troopers are just looking for an excuse to write a ticket.

You know, when it's snowing and everything is white, and LEDs won't put out enough heat to melt snow, white lights may not be visible enough to keep you safe.

Would like to out some on my 2015 1500 as well. Mostly for if I'm driving in snow storms or pull over to help someone or God forbid have a breakdown, be nice to throw some extra lighting on.

This exact reason is what im looking to add amber strobes for. Bad snow storms, rain storms, or off on the side of the road.

Especially for snow storms and when the semis are whiting out all the other drivers on the road i want to make sure im visible.

Looking at mounting a strobe light bar at the top of the grille and maybe one justbelow the tailgate. Yeah i see whelen is the big name but im not trying to break the bank on something i may use a few times a year.

Something waterproof durable and good loght output
