lost power all of a sudden

i have a 2015 Hd 6.0 crew 4wd. 3600 miles, its been great,all of a sudden coming off a turn off ramp i went to hit it to kick into passing gear and it fell flat on its face,didnt really feel a passing gear change either. im gonna take it in to dealer i just wanted to post and see if anyone had this. the rest of the way home its still a dog. weird.

Were you still in the process of turning? You could have engaged the traction control or stabilitrak which would automatically apply the brakes. Other than that the engine shouldn't be a dog though. It's not like having the Dmax but its not like a small V6 either.

oh yeah, i may have. but it seemed to last the rest of the ride home(approx 3 miles) that system shouldnt stay on that long. who knows,seems ok today. going to dealer monday for that and also i have a lifter tap noise in the engine all of a sudden too.
