Colossus
Nothing politically correct about Happy Holidays at all, as already stated, happy holidays covers em all. Including new years. Saves you from looking like an annoying cheerful pain in the ass and having to wish someone 4 different holidays in a month or so time frame. With saying Happy Holiday's, you are going more than likely cover one of the holidays the person likes and celebrates and there ya go, mission accomplished for trying to be nice. Jsdirt
The way I look at it is, America celebrates Christmas, and has since it's Founding. When in America, Merry Christmas is to be said - all others take a back seat. I don't have an obligation to recognize every single other holiday there is. I'm in THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. I, my family, my neighbors and my friends celebrate Christmas. Enough said.

SnakeEyeSS
The way I look at it is, America celebrates Christmas, and has since it's FoundingDid you mean since America's Founding or Christmas holiday? Either way isn't correct. There is evidence it was celebrated in late December far longer, from a Roman calendar of 354. America was founded in 1776. (As you know, but some may not, based on the recent revelations most youth don't know what happened at Pearl Harbor, and that was far more recent!) If you meant official holiday here, it only became a federal holiday in 1870. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronography_of_354
barry G
xmas, whatever it is to anybody. found a cool song. http://vimeo.com/55641900 the original music man Leonard Cohen died this year, it has been used for many many songs. maybe that is what christian is. what crazy nut gave the most. I think of the unrecognized walking dead men this year. the soldiers, and airmen.. some don't know they are leaders. Just a few words could stop a syrian battle. Glad to be american too.. Colossus
Alright, kids. The truth of the matter is that I do believe in Christmas. I'm a Christian. Not a very good Christian, but yes, I believe in Christ. Am I a good disciple of Christ? Far from it. Do I celebrate Christmas? Not much in the past 15 years or so. Personal reasons. Don't ask and don't give me any advice or encouragement or any of that hog wash. I don't want it and don't need it. But for those of you who want to be Cheerful and happy and all, here is a little touching story for you. http://www.9news.com/news/nation-now/i-cried-all-the-way-home-santa-claus-grants-final-wish-to-a-dying-child/368047616
