Has anyone bought a dashcampro?

I see these advertised all the time for $39.99 plus $6.95 shipping. Seems pretty cheap if they work.

I've had one of those cheaper cameras similar to yours.

It was my first try so I didn't want to go too fancy price wise.

It lasted about 18 months 'til it died because of a heat stroke (I think).

It's worth the money when you consider that the more expensive ones I've tried, only lasted a few months.

 

I ended up with a BlackVue front and rear cam. Quite expensive but it's the best one so far.

I've used Garmin cams front & rear for the past couple of years. Never had any problems either. Have these installed in all of our vehicles.

 

I will say that the front cam has saved me some money. Caught a pickup truck that hit my wife's Cadillac in a parking lot. The camera recorded the collision, the driver getting out and looking at the damage and then non-chalantly leaving the scene and of course it recorded the plate number.

 

I swear by dash cams. Best money spent.
