OP, DO NOT pay that crazy amount of money you mentioned in your original post for reverse LED light bulbs.

I got all of my interior truck LED's and reverse light LED's through ebay pretty darn cheap compared to what most stores sell them for.

The price you listed from Amazon should be able to get you an entire low beam LED conversion kit, ballasts, bulbs, not just a set of bulbs.

To give you a little more specific information of what I did, my reverse lights are :

For the 921 bulbs in my 2010, I bought a set of "Genssi" 50W CREE high power projector LED's, 6000K ($19.95 shipped). They do a great job, much nicer and brighter than the OEM bulbs.

Not sure which bulb size would be in your truck, you're going to have to check but it's easy to tell the sizes apart.

I have two GMT-900's and they both used a different reverse light bulb for some reason.

For my 2008 with OEM "3047" bulbs, I bought an unknown brand name 3157 80W projector LED 6000K ($18.00 shipped for the set of 2). These bulbs are noticeably brighter than the 921's but they are much larger also.

If replacement bulbs don't get you the amount of light you are looking for and still want more, you can always buy a set of LED light pods and mount them in/below/under your rear bumper.

Thanks man, I think I was actually referring to those (4) LED pods, and mounting them somewhere with that price. I appreciate the heads up though.

Look at the Rigid Industries flush mount reverse light kit, it's relatively cheap and the light output is amazing. Just had it installed on my truck.

I just put a 2.5" level (front only) on my midnight. The level kit was $55 shipped. Motofab makes them and they are upper spacers cnc machined from billet aluminum then powder coated - good stuff.

Totally do it. I havn't had a chance to go on any highway trips yet. All of my driving is in town for the most part and its a small town. i'll keep you updated. From what I have read from other peoples level kits they are experiencing on average 1mpg less. But I mean com'on, you bought a bada$$ full size truck. Who cares about the mpgs :) lol

After owning two black cars, I will never own another as a daily driver, but I must admit that your black midnight looks really nice. Enjoy...!!!

I have had 3 black cars/SUV's in a row before I bought my 2015 Silverado. While I was looking for my truck, I was consistent in what I wanted with every dealer. 5.3, Crew Cab, LT, etc but most importantly "ANY COLOR BUT BLACK". Well, sometimes the universe or God or fate whatever you believe in, tells you that it doesn't matter what you think you want, you are going to get a deal you can't pass up on a truck. So I went home with this:

I have found that touch free carwashes make a world of difference and that sometimes you just have to be ok with driving a dirty vehicle.
