Headrest issue/question...

So I have a 2015 sierra denali crew cab. The rib has been complaining lately that the seat was uncomfortable and she thought it was the headrest. So today after comparing the passenger seat and driver seat, the passenger seats headrest is either bigger or just angled different on the post. Does anyone else have this or is this normal, or can the angle be adjusted, not just the height? I moved the two and the passenger definitely sits further forward ( hanging over the seat where your back is) than the drivers headrest. Any thoughts or am I just crazy?

If you pull the headrest towards you and let it go it will reset to the "normal" position. I believe this is how you do it. Mine was off and the wife complained about. Didn't know they adjusted that way until I read on here about them.

Does anyone else find the headrests uncomfortable? I moved mine all of the way back and up and down and can't find a position where it's not sticking into my head at an angle. It seems like the headrest is angled at a weird angle.

All new vehicles are slowing going to this as it is the new safety standard. ”Active Head Restraints”

Weird, I have the same problem but mine isn’t adjustable. My solution was just to remove it. It looks goofy, but it’s more comfortable, and I can see traffic to my 7 to 8 o’clock much better.

How do you get them off?   Mine go to the top with the little button then seem to just stop.

It's not that they are "active head restraints", it's that the angling of the headrest is not comfortable. The bottom sticks out even when I have it sitting as far back as possible.

Hold that button in as you lift the headrest out of the seat. You’ll probably have to lean the seat back or it’ll hit the roof before it comes out. Keep in mind, removing the headrest could result in injury if you get rear-ended.
