I've done a few thing over the last 2 months and I have a lot more planned over the course of the next year so I thought I'd start a build thread. My plan is to have a customized look while still being practical for daily driving and what my wife calls "doin truck stuff" lol. I'll try to post links to things if I have them.

Hope yall like! Feel free to PM me with questions.

Coming from a 1994 C1500. It's been a learning process for sure. My dad bought it brand new in '94 and I've had it since highschool, about 9 years. It had 284,xxx miles on it, original motor/trans, when I finally sold it. It treated us well over the course of 21 years.

First mod was screen protector and floor mats. Did Husky X-Acts in the front and Weatherbeaters in the rear. The front pax is the only one that moves and it's very little over the course of time.

Sub/Amp Install. My most complicated mod so far because of a bad amp.

Welp after my first amp blew (Alpine - manufacture defect) up over a month ago I finally got new equipment and got my install done finally. Simple but suits my needs. Dual 4 ohm coils wired in parallel 2 ohm running 500watts rms.

Rockford Fosgate R500X1D

Custom box .55ft^3 by Soundwerk Audio - Ft Worth, Tx

Incredible sound from this little 10". Had the amp mounted on particle board secured to the seat bolts but turns out the seat won't go down... live and learn. I'll fab up something else this weekend.

Original wiring diagram. I ended up not going with the LC2i because the RF amp has hi level inputs.

Driver assist handle. 5 minute install. Use very often. Hoping it will keep my seats in a nicer condition over time. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TA7UUM2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00
