I'm a professional detailer and have been for nearly 30 years now....... lots of tricks.

I know this is an old thread, but why not.

Cleaning windows?

I use a synthetic spray wax sprayed on a microfiber towel. Wpe the window down. Flip the towel over and wipe the window off. You'll never have to deal with steaks again.

Boars hair brush. Extremely soft, but have enough stiffness to clean & not scratch at the same time..

Removing bugs ...... too easy. Spray the affected area with an APC. Let it set (not in the sun) and go ahead and clean a couple wheels & tires or whatever just to let the cleaner set for a few minutes. Come back with the Boars hair brush (be sure you really soaked the bugs heavily with the cleaner), dip the brush in clean water and begin cleaning with circular motion. No need to really apply lots of pressure as the bugs will come off effortlessly. Rinse and move on.

Rapid Remover for any and all tar, paint and even gum stuck to carpet removal..Best stuff I've ever used.

+1 on the Boars hair brush.

Also using Spray wax to clean door/hood/trunk/gas jambs is a perfect idea. Most people forget about these jambs when they wash their car.

Now exactly do you do this? Just spray and wipe I assume.. I always wipe my door jams down with a wet rag at every wash.

Are you using the spray wax over tint? I like this tip and will probably give it a go soon. Any particular type of spray wax? I have a bottle of Meguire's Gold Class Spray wax I was thinking of using.

I use Meguiars synthetic spray wax. I purchase it online as it isn't readily available in any stores you might find. I've never used any other type of wax so I can't comment on your using the Gold Class.

I open the doors and spray the jambs with a QD and wipe down. Any mist that gets on the outside paint is fine, because I do this step while the car is still wet.

Also when I do a waterless wash on the car - I will just use a MF that has been saturated in product.

Its amazing how dirty jambs can get.
