Installed Stainless MBRP on my 2015

Recommended Posts

Drove to Summit Racing yesterday and picked up a MBRP dual exhaust kit, they were nice and pricematched a place online so got it for a little under $500. Started on it last night and idk why but it was a PITA. I installed their kit on my 2011 F150 I had and that went on in about an hour, for some reason this one took me 4 hours. I could not for the life of me get the driver side to line up right and I'm still not sure on it. No matter how I adjusted the muffler and the pipe the pipe was either hitting under the bed or hit the shock. I got it to finally clear both but now its within an inch of the two brake lines going to the axle, I zip tied them together and got a little more clearance but still they are still within a half inch, anyone else have this problem? To the sound it has a nice rumble at start up and sounds pretty good while driving, was hoping it was a little louder but hope with some miles it will get a little louder. Inside there was no drone and in V4 mode at least inside couldn't really tell.

MBRP mufflers will not get any louder because it's a chambered muffler not packed with fiber glass or steel wool. I haven't had any issues installing these kits...I could almost do it with my eyes closed.

Took it on a longer drive tonight. Can hear the helicopter effect people mention around 50 mph but above that couldn't really tell. There is a little drone but doesn't bother me at all love the sound. Wish it was a little louder though

Do you have the 5.3 or 6.2? I used the 6.2 3.5" kit on my 5.3 and I think it's just right.
