Finally I got it everything delivered and put in. I am running the yakima bedrock with 78" inch bars ( cut down so they don't stick over bed rails) with a kuat vagabond basket. It has 2 bike mounts built in which is a nice feature. Cant wait to get everything loaded up for hunting

Oops here ya go

How do you like the Rhino Rack? Is it performing flawlessly?

I have 2016 Canyon and trying to outfit it with a roof rack. Not much available for these trucks. Yakima doesn't make anything yet. Thule's kit is out of my 'comfortable' price range for the amount of times I'll use it. And Rhino is another option.

I don't want to spend too much but yet, I don't want it to fail either.

I'd be getting 2 bars and carrying 2 kayaks (10') with Yakima Bowdown setups.

Did you ever get that Rhino Rack? I am looking at the Rhino Rack for my 17 Sierra 1500 Double Cab.

This one specifically.

Looking for newer pics of anyone with roof racks. Trying to revive this thread!

Anyone with the Gorhino SRM100/200 ?

I'm curious on the wind noise of a roof rack, anyone?

What rack is that? Gorhino? and what length?

I like the look of it, I would just want it to cover the full length of the roof - looks to be about 10-12" short?

It's a Chinese import from a surplus store in Canada called Princess Auto. It is short, which I didn't mind, but it's also narrow, which I ended up thinking looked goofy. And it is NOISY!!! I used a set of Yakima bars to mount to, and when I first installed it all, I positioned the bars according to Yakima's instructions. That put the rack way forward, and covered the shark fin, so the XM didn't work for a crap, and the noise.

I moved it back quite a bit, which helped with the XM and the noise, but it was still noisy enough I took it off. I still use it for camping if I need some extra storage.

I do love the look, and now that I have the GM sport bar on, I think the rack on too would look killer. I'm keeping my eye open for a used name brand rack. I'm wondering if they're not as noisy.

I put the Rhino Rack Vortex bars on mine with a Kuat skinny cargo rack. I have enough room to go add 2 bikes with the kuat and 3 if I take it off.

The Kuat baskets are really nice but they're very heavy. Even the skinny one like mine is hard to take on and off without help.
