Finally picked up a Bakflip G2 cover for the truck. Pretty happy with the fit and function.

So what do you like and dislike so far about your G2. I am on the fence about the G2 or a Pace Edwards full metal jackrabbit

Can't say I have any dislikes. I came out of an Avalanche and really liked the bed covers that they have so this one was right up my ally. Ease of access to the bed while still providing some security is a plus. The whole thing only took maybe ten minutes to install which is also a huge plus.

Thank you very much for saying so. You know I am still undecided on an exhaust system because I really like how quiet my truck is.

Truck looks badass! ( Not that you haven't heard that 20 times already)

Throw an exhaust on that bad boy so the sound matches the appearance :smoker:

I hear ya. If you like the quiet then keep it stock. No real need for an exhaust unless you want to hear your engine, lol. I haven't noticed an increase in power or fuel mileage but I also added my lift and bigger tires at the same time so I have little comparison to go off.

Well I guess I am no longer undecided on exhaust. Today I dropped the truck off and had the Flowmaster Super 10 installed. Had them remove the third Cat and everything thing back replacing it all with single in dual out to 4" tips angled down on corners of bumper. To me looks fantastic and the sound is perfect for me.

Well finally got my Intune i2 yesterday(happy happy). Installed the 91 octane tune with the firm shift. I adjusted for my tires, set the throttle boost at 15% and turned off the AFM. First impression is very pleased. Glad my speedometer is finally correct and the sound of the Super 10 is wonderful now that it stays in V8. I don't really care if it made my truck faster because I didn't buy a muscle car and the truck already had more than enough power for me, but my butt dyno says it got a little peppier.

Any chance you've got any sound clips of that new exhaust? I keep debating on different size lifts and tires but every time I see your truck I want to copy it.

I don't have any such clips, but I listened to maybe a hundred on youtube before buying mine and I will say it don't sound as good on any clips as it does in person. The truck has a loud growl with a cold start but quickly calms down. During normal driving it has a deep rumble that with windows up can barely be heard. Highway little louder but still (to me) mild. Now decide to floor the gas and the truck wakes up in such a way that is very obnoxious; making me smile every time.

What is your opinion of the tires? I have read the reviews and am comparing them before I make the purchase. Hows the noise?

]I have sold the truck and crossed over to the dark side with a '17 F-250, but am happy to answer your question about the tires. With out a doubt I recommend anyone to buy the Destination MT!! I have took the truck into some pretty nasty areas and not even once was I let down. Traction both on and off road is to be praised, while tread wear is great as well. To be completely honest the tires have very little road noise compared to other MT tires out there, and with the quietness of the Cab you hear nothing with the windows up. Best part about the tire is the price, I paid only 280.00 a tire for mine.539ebaf3bd5be110b31d9b2a8dbdd304.jpga5f1162245ada39a226e00b45e4defb3.jpg

Thanks man. I have been looking at them, but was concerned about the wear. Sounds like you liked them well enough. Looks like I may consider them. Good looking F-250 too. Makes the GMC look so small even with the lifts on both
