2014 GMC supercharge tuning advice needed

I have a 2014 GMC supercharged truck and putting a meth kit to go to the vehicle. To add power to compensate for the kit you can either at boost or adjust timing, I wish to add timing and not Add boost, my question is if I go in to the timing tables and make adjustments do I also have to go into the torque management tables also and make adjustments there? Thank you
