I am getting my exhaust done real soon, I am waiting on my SS tips to ship in. My delima is I am not sure if I want them straight out the rear or to turn out to the corners.  If anyone has any pics to help my decision, it would be much appreciated!!

Thanks!

If you look closely, you can see the tip hanging down a little.

I don't care much for crome, so I opted to "dump" over the rear axle. Keep the appearance tidy.

Second pic is of the muffler, in case you wanted to see it.

Tweeter,

I just installed (Saturday 4/11) the Flowmaster 40 series with Delta Technology & SS Tips at a 45 to each corner.

I don't have headers and I have the 5.3 engine.

Truck sounds excellent at idle, you can only hear a slight rumble. On exceleration it sounds perfect, hard exceleration they are pretty loud to let roadies know your coming . The sound in the cab is very mellow and does'nt cancel out the radio. On the hwy there is a nice mellow tone, i even turn the radio off an listen to her purrrrrrrrr.

Check my web site below. I only have 1 pic, if you want a full rear shot I'll post it.

I'm very happy with the outcome of mine.

My truck is scheduled to go in Saturday. Hopefully I can get some pics posted next week.  I am still not sure which way to run my tips.  Do any of you have any pros or cons on running them out the back or to the corners??

All the trucks look awsome!!

Thanks Everyone!

I like them out the back, but I chose straight out the sides for a couple reasons.

I now tow a trailer with my 4 wheelers on it, so I don't have the exhaust blowing back on the trrailer/4 wheelers/or what ever e;se may be on the trailer, as much.

I thought the 90* straight out the sides was a classic GM look for trucks.

There are several cons to straight back.

One, when hooking up the trailer, you're breathing in fumes (i'm not really worried about the stuff on the trailer though).

Two, I have backed into mulch/gravel/sand/snow piles.

If I was going to do it over again, I would probably do a 90 or 45 degree.  I just liked the way straight looked best.
