I like some things dirty .... just not my vehicles. ;)

You would not like it where I live. This is how my pickup looks most of the time. Only gets washed when roads dry. Ahh, the wonder of living on rural gravel roads.

That would drive me crazy....lol especially white paint

Haha! Yeah, I'm with you on that. I can't stand a dirty vehicle. I'd have to move!

You think it looks bad on white paint, you ought to see the darker colors like blue or black! Actually, we have learned out here in the corn patch that white or silver shows dust and light dirt less than the darker colors. Now for mud like that pic, there is nothing can make it seem less.

But it is a trade off. Lower property taxes than if I was in a metro area. I can step out the door and fire a 30.06 off of my deck and no one cares, threats from robberies and other stuff that goes on in towns is dramatically lower, I don't need a building permit to put in a fence or a deck, don't need to ask for permission to hunt (and don't need a hunting license either on the property!), and the list goes on and on. Seems like a good trade off if all that it means is a pickup that stays dirty more than it does clean.

Those two points are probably closely related. :M16:

It is amazing how low the crime rate is in areas where average folks have firearms and know how to use them. Had a high ticket load of 16 Kawasaki Mules in my semi trailer one time. Parked at the house for the weekend. Of course, customer concerned. Told them that it would be 12 miles out of town, parked next to the barn, GPS tracked, would have two large black dogs watching things, and if needed, wife would have the .45 and I would have a Stoeger 12 gauge double barrel coach gun and a 30-30. If anyone could get thru all of that, they could keep the Mules. Customer seemed satisfied. Got a lot of those Kawasaki Mule loads after that.

Really....I always thought darker colors hide it better

I have a daily carwash pass. I drive through every day. Not a scratch or swirl mark on my truck. $20/month.

And I know I'm wrong.

^^ That's a beautiful truck right there!!

I try to wash my two vehicles once a week, unfortunately I don't have the time to do this as often as I'd like. It get even trickier in the wintertime because I have to go to the coin wash. I really try to do it once a week when the snow flies to get all the salt and crap off of it.

I really hate it when my cars are crusted in white salt :nonod:
