305/55/20 or 275/60/20

Thanks for the quick reply! Not bad for a p metric. I have been running the AT3s at work and love them but think I will go with the ATPs for my truck. I just think it's a better looking tire.

I agree.

Just a quick update:

Really starting to love the look and stance, no rocks flying on the side as of yet :).

No rubbing at all going forward.

Little rub at full lock in reverse. I haven't investigated where the rub is yet, but I think it's the plastic from the splash gaurd.

Perfect thank you.

I'll try them there.

DT had them all at 34 cold, but I bumped it up a little to see how they rode adn haven't noticed any difference. I might try 2 more psi per tire to see how that goes, but I don't want to press my luck as the ride is nice now.

Not a dumb question, but the reason is that it is a 32" tire. Most with a level front are wanting 33" (305/55/20 or 275/60/20 or 33x12.5-20)

Also two more questions. As for rubbing. I'm going back and forth between 2.25 and 2.5 level. Some say 2 inches doesn't rub with 33 others say it does. would the 2.25 or 2.5 solve that issue.

I'm not sold on the RC level from mixed reviews. I don't mind spending more for quality. Buy once cry once. Looking at fab tech, ready lift, progressive, RC and a few others. Any opinions.

Are general AT2 not a normal tire people are running. Everyone is drawn to the Nitto. Any insight.

Im willing to guess that the Generals are just fine. Reason you don't see them much on here again is because of the size. I don't have any first hand experience with these, but TireRack has them at 4 out of 5 starts with a ton of reviews: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=General&tireModel=Grabber+AT+2&partnum=05TR0GRAT2XL&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

I don't think 2-2.5" will matter on the rubbing, as long as you have some level with a 33" tire. I think the rubbing comes into play with offset and/or spacers.

I am RC 2" level, no rubbing at all with OEM 20x9 wheels and 275/60/20 33" tires. But, when I added he 1.5" spacers (putting my offset more around -12), then I started to rub the carpet in reverse at full lock. I think if I was at 0 offset, I'd be clear of rubbing.

Thank for the Intell. So the offset just pushes the tire outside the wheel well correct.

The general 33/12.5/20 are basically the same size except 2 inches wider. Also maybe the weight capacity. Correct.

Few more questions. With let's say a 2.5 inch front and a two inch block to replace the one inch in the back my rack will be around one inch.

Running 33 inch tires the overall height change will be around 3-3.5 inches. Making the trucks overall height around 6"8 to 6"9.

Yes I'm seeing if it fits in my garage ?
