Rawyzf
i know you will post up the pics when done!! what tire? Yup, it'll be a few weeks out though. Just placed the order for the Bora spacers which will take a week or 2 to get. As for tire, I'll decide that in the next week. I'm a big fan of the Cooper ATP, and might just go that route again. Otherwise Nitto Terra Grappler G2 is an option. I have to get A/T, can't do Mud Terrain here in MN as those would probably suck in the snow. Rawyzf
Just to note my 275/60/20s with 12mm offset rubbed a little. But so do my 295s lol What are you rubbing on with 275/60?
smrr1
notice is offset vs stock wheel. don't think anyone is rubbing with that size on stock wheels.

Yeah, probably not on stock wheels....but stock wheels with a 1.5" spacer puts you at -12 offset in theory, so if he rubbed, I'd like to know what, cause I'll be out about an inch more than he was. Rawyzf
I went with the 275-60-20 Toyo Open Country AT2's and while they are a great tire, and ride nice, they are pretty skinny. Maybe the spacers will help but I am heavily considering the 305-55 Nittos in the P/XL now to get the stance I want. Post 2 or 3 should show you what you're going to get with 305/55/20 on a stock wheel. I love the width of the 305 being an extra 1.4", but again I don't want to rub. Also the weight and gas mileage hit play a little factor in this for now too. Some day, I am sure I'll change my mind.
nadrojcote
MTs are horrible in the snow, my trail grapplers were brutal. Dynapro atms are amazing in winter.
Rawyzf
MTs are horrible in the snow, my trail grapplers were brutal. Dynapro atms are amazing in winter. Exactly what I had thought I read once upon a time. Right now, it's a toss up between Cooper ATP and Nitto Terra Grappler G2. Coopers are usually about $50 a tire cheaper, but with the $70 Nitto Rebate and DTD discounts for using thier card, the Nittos are only $20 more a tire right now. CptMcSaug
The liner behind the tire. Also Please get the AT3 not the ATP. AT3 much better tire.
Rawyzf
The liner behind the tire. Also Please get the AT3 not the ATP. AT3 much better tire. Thanks for the rubbing info. I've had both the AT3 and ATP. I like the tread pattern on the ATP better and it's a much quieter tire.
Rawyzf
Phase 1 complete, 275/60/20 Cooper ATPs installed and Bora 1.5" spacers ordered. Talked with DT and they have no issues at all with the Bora spacers (or any spacer that is hub centric). Will post up when Phase 2 is complete with the spacers installed. Here is a pic with 275/55/20, just for reference.
nadrojcote
Looks great, doesn't look bad without spacers!
Rawyzf
It's amazing what 1" in tire height does for looks. I think it still needs the spacers though, in that last pic, they are just tucked too much for me. I really wish we could get away with a 1" spacer, as that woudl be perfect. But 1.5 will do too.
