and in comparison the stock goodyear sra's are 39.5lb

Some guys do say that laws of physics means that a heavier tire doesn't change the mpg that much, its more so the diameter and width. if its sticking out of the fender a lot it will make a bigger difference than a heavier tire will. Basically the only time a heavier tire makes a difference on your mpg is while accelerating because an object in motion stays in motion.

Still I'm happy knowing my wheels and tires weigh less than GM OEM 22's with bridgestones.

You're making me feel bad, lol. My wheels are OEM and weigh a ton. Add to that fact they are PVD coated, and then add to that fact I have Coopers on there now that are 45lb and will probably be jumping up to 52lb Nittos.

Thanks, yeah I am not too worried (yet). Just trying to figure out what will look best and yet be functional and not cause too much damage to the truck or wallet.

Those terra grapplers look promising. Had no idea they made a 305/55 in p metric. I have no experience with nitto's though. Been a long time toyo user. I wouldn't mind jumping the extra 12 pounds if they rode well, for an all terrain that is.

We've had several sets of Nittos. Some 33" E Rated -Trail Grapplers on my Dodge that lasted 50k miles. And Dad loves him on his F150, both sets of 275/55/20 Terra's have lasted ~60k+ miles. I think the only real big advantage the Nittos have over the Toyo's is I've found them to be allot more readily available compared to the Toyo's.

Toyo makes nitto, as far as I know they're very similar but toyo puts their highest quality standards into their own tires. I've owned trail grapplers and they wore like iron, lasted forever, but rode rough. I've been told toyo oc mt ride better. They also have more siping to provide better traction.

275-60-20 with 12mm offset on 2" level about to get 295-55s put on tho

Love those wheels, but I'd want them in Stealth rather than Death Metal.

What tire brand are those and do you get a little rub a full lock? They look killer.

I stole these pictures from two different members. This setup rubs the driver wheel liner full lock in reverse, with a 20x9. I didn't ask the tire brand, they look like Falken or Toyo.

They're definitely toyo and he will be rubbing the liner and the sway bar, most people dont even realize theyre rubbing the sway bar until they look at it and see the black marks. I rubbed the wheel well liner as well, but I just zip tied it back and now its good.

Now I just have to find a good deal on tires. These 305s are expensive! I might have to wait until Discount Tire Direct has their $100 off $400 promo.
