How much is your auto insurance for your 2014/2015

Curious how much you pay monthly for auto for just your Silverado.

 

Just got quoted $635 for 6 months. So just over $100

Seems about right mine went from like 130 a month to 220 something when I added the Truck. Also I'm only 23 so I think I did pretty good.

Location, coverage type, policy limits and deductibles, driver age(s) and history, state regulations, and in some places even credit history are among the factors. You can probably find a 10:1 variation without even looking hard. And so what. What does that mean?

You're not dense. There's zero usefulness in a thread like this.

 

Multi-vehicle discount, multi-policy discount (homeowner's), whether you have points / surcharges or not, recent claims made, age and experience, carrier cost, agent fees, geography...

 

There's only about a million different variables in the mix.

I have the V6 and its just over 100 bucks. The V8 would have been 210 a month. Perfect driving record and I'm 26.

Also I'm in Florida and have a multicar discount.

With a clean record and being with the same company for about 15 years we just paid $692 for 6 months for full coverage on my truck, wife's 2013 Terrain and a 40' RV. Insurance is pretty cheap up here in fly over country.

I pay $1384 a year (or $152 a month for 9 months) for 3 cars, '07 Silverado included.

 

 

Sure beats the old days of paying $2,200 a year for BASIC insurance on ONE $500 beater at age 20 ...

Just got the full policy renewal in the mail. $368 / 6 months. Excellent coverage. Turning 33 here in a few weeks.
