Looking for a new truck need help!

I'm looking at a 14-15 Silverado as well as a tundra. I'm leaning towards the Silverado cause the interior as well as the mpg. I haven't considered f150 or dodge cause I hear dodge tranny sucks and ford well. I just don't think the f150s look mean. Even lifted. My main use for a truck is just going on the beach. Some trips with friends ect. And to look good and lift it. Tires/wheels. Anyways. Can anyone give me a unbiased opinion? I drove them all except the ram. Just can't get down to which one I want!'

Unbiased is a stretch for sure but I have owned Chevy, Ford and Dodge. Toyota makes the Prius so I just can't even consider the Tundra a truck. I used to be a blue oval guy until after 2008 when the Ford's basically became Tundra's (now I think they are actually the same). I can't handle the euro style that the trucks have taken but that is just my opinion.

They all have their issues but I have been in for 6 recalls and 3 tries to fix my undercoating and this is still my favorite truck I have ever owned. I am running 37's on 3.42 gears and somehow this thing still gets good mileage and power with a canned tune. I am a notorious build it and sell it guy, I haven't had a vehicle for more than a year since I was 18 but this one is at a year and a half and I have no interest in letting it go.

This is just my opinion from somebody that has been around the truck block!

Stop by GMC to compare prices, options etc. Not sure your location, but in IL there is a GMC dealer that is generally cheaper than Chevrolet. It is rare, but happens.

Someone on here also was mentioning $10-$12 grand off at Hendrick Chevrolet over in NC too.*I think* So just shop around, you'll know the right truck when you see it.

Aside from the horsepower, options and good looks 2014/2015 GM trucks have. I take my GMC to the sand dunes in Glamis where you have to have a truck to get there. You see every truck brand out there. Nothing out performs GM Trucks. And my truck is so clean I took wifey out to a expensive restaurant in a fancy area nothing but looks as I drove up. Buy a GM.

I have owned more then a few Fords and a few more GM products. My family members have owned more then a few Toyota's and Datsuns and Nissan's. Honestly I can't really call any of these past vehicles overwhelming better then the other. Some of my Fords trannys took a dump on me and my Pontiac Trans Am gave me nothing but trouble. My IROC Camaro was fun but I got tired of the plastic interior shaking and creaking and falling apart as time went on. But I loved and hated these cars about the same

BUT..With my 2014 CrewCab Silverado Z71. I love this girl. Stock she rode better then any of my past cars and trucks. She is the perfect vehicle for me. She looks like a beast on the outside but on the inside the interior is all soft and family like. Its like a luxury car/suv/truck wrapped all up in one vehicle. But maybe thats just me.
