Doing maintenance on my truck yesterday (change oil, lube, etc.) I noticed a couple rock dings on the fins of the engine oil cooler.  Nothing serious, but that location seems kinda vulnerable.  Has anyone moved theirs to another location, like up by radiator/tranny cooler?

Engine oil cooler?? ???

 

The engine oil cooler is bolted to the side of the engine, and is not exposed to the elements.

 

Where is the cooler in question located?  Are you referring to the fuel cooler in front of the fuel tank?
