Funny little encounter today...

So today I was grabbing a salad to take into the office. As I was at the stop sign pulling out there was an older Chevy truck on the other side of the street from me facing me. We both we turning the same direction so I didn't think much of it as traffic was light and if both of us did as we should and turned into out lanes we would be fine.

Now with that I knew once I pulled into the center lane I would need to get over into the far right lane to turn and head up to the highway. No sooner than I get pulled out onto the street and start to accelerate up to speed so I can get over the truck that was facing me pulled out and I guess though he would show off and hammer it and try and cut me off.

So here I have this 80's long bed, red Chevy truck with a monster tach on the dash, slammed in the front end with some sort of pimp mirror mounted up high on the b-pillar trying to show everyone how loud and fast his truck is. Well I just sort of hit it from a 20mph roll, dropped into 1st and barked 2nd and had enough room to get over in front of him.

Guess he wasn't happy about that and proceeded to yell and scream with his 2 young children in booster seats that I didn't notice til he got behind me.

So to show me how bad his truck is he gunned it when we came around the corner yelling the entire way. I just shook my head and went on my way, it was kind of comical in some senses.

There was a 02~ Mustang GT that felt like he had to prove something when I was leaving the Tuesday Night Cruise. Seemed to be bone stock, but lets say it had bolt on's and made 300HP. He was directly in front of me and floored it while watching me in the mirror's. Probably said he "raced me". Hope the guy realized if the car sitting off sesmic sensors behind him floors it too and he'd have a "Pontiac" emblem fused in his spine.

If you have one of these clowns revving on you at a light, rev back, look at him and nod, once.

When the light changes, he'll roar off. You hit your hazard lights, pull out normally and go on your way. Hopefully, he'll crap himself when he sees the flashers.
