I ran mine wire hardness from the second battery , alone the frame to the rear of cab , up thru the floor by rear seat hinge. my hardness powers two-way radio's (3), scanner , computer , ALL lights . I did wrap the wire hardness just to be safe. good luck

I think i am going to go with this die hard one: http://www.sears.com/diehard-gold-automotive-battery-group-size-48-price/p-02850848000P?prdNo=4&blockNo=4&blockType=G4

Its AGM, decent price, and compatible with our truck. Also said it was deep-cycle so that should fit the bill. WIll let you guys know how the install goes.

Could you point out where you hooked up the wires to your stinger isolator? I believe one goes to the ignition relay, another to ground, and then the big posts go to power.

Hooking up, 12v ignition, ground to main battery terminal. The 1/0's red from main battery fuse block (which the main battery positive is also going to) to isolator, then from isolator to second battery. Then there needs to be a ground cable from the second battery to the ground on the main battery in order for the trucks electrical system to sense the load for charging purposes.

Would you mind showing me a pic of all the connections? I'm super paranoid about frying my truck, lol.

http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/173536-strykers-inc-2014-gmc-sierra-denali-62l-vader/page-11

Start here (about half way down). From there ask questions.

I show the connections made. The 12v ignition wire is run to the fuse box on the driver side engine compartment, off the top of my head I do not know which fuse I tapped, but it is in the owners manual labelled ignition something or other.

I am not able to look for the correct terminology at this time.....

No rush dude, that is the page i have been staring at all day, i get the setup now. Black to black on both batteries, then the power gets split by the isolater between the 2 batteries, and the 2 smaller 12g wire runs go to the starter fuse and ground?

If you could snap a pic of the exact fuse i need to attach to for the starter that would rock!

Can't believe i just dropped 200$ on wire....

Didn't take a picture, but this should work just fine. From the owners manual (double check to be sure in your own manual), #39 is Misc Ignition. It is what I used for my isolator. Get yourself a quality fuse tap and you should be good.

UPDATE 160305

Some more door panel goodness......still trying to find a large enough piece of mesh to match the A-Pillar grills.

The original mesh used was from existing Focal mesh, flattened out and reformed. Now we are trying to find at least 2 large pieces with the same size holes and pitch to match, and that seems to be a hard one to find.

Would an auto parts store have a decent fuse tap or just crap ones? I want to make sure I use quality parts for everything in my system so I don't have to go back later and tweak things. Also, where did you run the line out of the fuse box? Do I need to drill a hole and add a grommet?

I should have my wire and connectors today, battery already installed. Thanks a ton for all the help dude!

Yes, auto parts stores have quality taps, hell you could probably find good ones at Wally World. As far as running the line out of the box, mine is routing out of the side closest to the side wall. I techflex all my cables and had no need to drill holes. The cables flows nicely out of the fuse box and the lid holds it in place.

No problem, any time!
