This may have been answered already, but what did you use to de-chrome the badging, door handles, trim and bumper?

Are these painted OEM, replacement parts, or wrapped?

Your truck looks fantastic...

Jcav8r thanks for the compliment!

My truck is a Denali - Bumpers come onyx black already as OEM.

Door Handles - GM Parts Ordered in Onyx Black OEM

Window Trim - GM Parts Ordered in Onyx Black OEM

Door Trim - GM Parts OEM Order - Dealership painted them onyx black for me (they come unpainted)

Badges were removed by me. Ordered new ones from GMPartsNow.com (all my GM parts come from here) with military discount and a gift credit I had from somewhere. Did not cost me more than $80 shipped. Practiced coating the old badges with Duplicolor Shadow until I had it down exactly what shade I want. Then coated my new emblems and mounted them.

Denali Grill is OEM and done by me in the same manner as the badging.

Hope that helps!

Helps a lot! Thank you sir.

I am taking delivery of my 2016 Denali in a couple weeks, also in Onyx black...just starting to generate my "to-do list".

I'm glad to hear that GM sells OEM parts in matching color, I also prefer to buy the real stuff vs. painting or wrapping over chrome. Your truck will provide plenty of inspiration for me :)

Well I will help out wherever I can. The 2016's still haven't caught my attention. The front bumper looks out of place to me.....mostly the fogs, they look non-GMC-ish....

I never seen that many wires going to a speaker before, looks wicked

Well the sub has two 3-inch voicecoils. So it is wired as two subs. The additional pos/neg terminals are for the LED dustcap lighting. I am adding some more heatshrink to dress the wires and post another picture, but you get the idea of how much of a beast this Phoenix Gold Elite2.12D2 really is.

When your sub has as many wires coming off it as your stock battery [emoji15]

UPDATE - 151227

Phase1 - A-Pillar Build and Install - Complete

Phase2 - Amp-Rack & Jump Enclosure + Power Distribution

Phase3 - Front Door Panels (with Illusion Audio Carbon C8's & Illusion Audio Carbon C6's installed in Rear Doors) + Mosconi 6to8V8 Controller Dash Mounted

Phase4 - Alpine X110-SRA with Alpine KAC-001 Truck Accessory Controller Module

Phase5 - Final Tune + Power Distribution Pod Cover

As of right now, I am finishing up the cable runs on the Phase2 and re-installing the amp rack and jump enclosure. Cables are being cut to exact length, and using the DD10 I am running auxiliary power lines to each separate item that requires it so I can fuse each cable run. Also have to finish installing the mercury switches for the lighting effects. Jump enclosure is perfectly sealed and cables run and ready for amps.

Phase3 has been started already and here is a picture of the initial panel mocked up for fitment. Custom enclosure without cutting into the door for Illusion Audio Carbon C8. Grill will be micromesh to match A-Pillars. Black Acrylic surrounds to match. All will be wrapped in matching vinyl for the factory look.
