There's a metric ton of win in this thread. KUDOS on the progress.

Fat fingered, and shot from the hip.

Thanks for the compliment...stay tuned there is much more to come. Should be installing the enclosure this weekend.

UPDATE - 151213

Test fit for amplifiers with lighting modifications. Internal LED modifications have been made to amplifiers in order to display the circuit boards more clearly. Both the amplifier LED mods and the rack LEDs are tied into a mercury switch controlled by the smaller fold down seat. Raise the seat and the LEDs come on, lower the seat and they turn off. Kyle went above and beyond making a junction box for the wiring which will be connected to the Phoenix Gold DD10 Power Distibution System. The DD10 allows for fusing accessory items. Still need to figure out where to locate
the SMD Fan Temperature Controller. Will be Installing on Friday, after I drive to Illinios of course.

Amps in rack for test fit and LED test. (Amps are actually in backwards for the test, but maybe I am the only one that even knows that)151213_Amp_Enclosure_0.jpg

UPDATE - 151218 - Install Friday

Well, I am back from Install Friday over in Illinois. Had to drive over to Illinois to test-fit/pre-install Phase2 of the build. Everything went smooth, actually better than expected. The tolerances built in were better than perfect. In example. The jump-enclosure fit so well, it actually looks as if it's wider than the gap between the drivers and passenger seats. When both seats are fully reclined, there is a perfect 1/16-inch spacing for clearance. The jump-enclosure is rock solid and doesn't budge either. Now that I am back I have uninstalled the rack and jump-enclosure in order to fine tune the cable lengths and routes, hard-mount the amps, install the RCA's, test signals, and install the mercury-switches for the lighting.

Had to add this picture. Same gas station as before for the midway pitstop. Same stall. Same time as before. Different angle.

On the way back from Illinois, I stopped in Topeka, KS, and had dinner with K-Slo and his wife. Special Thanks to them for their hospitality!

Thank You for the information on your emblems . keep the photo's coming.

Taho08: Good looking truck . Are your emblems painted (door/tailgate).

Strykers_Inc: Yes, All emblems, grill, and center caps on my truck are painted. I painted them using Duplicolor Shadow. Make sure to practice before you commit. I used my account on GMPartsNow.com and purchased brand new emblems for my truck. Used the old ones for practice.

No problem, thanks for checking my build out.
