Yep. The concern over resource use is probably the most insane thing I've ever read.

I believe it was you that recently posted a statement about the sprawl that shouldn't have been allowed to occur in southern California due to water issues. They don't build houses unless population increases. Pretty simple concept.

In an American person's life they will burn 31,350 gallons of gasoline, read 43 trees worth of books and papers, create 64 tons of garbage, and use 1,800,000 gallons of water, and their carbon footprint is about 20 tons a year (3,120,000 lbs over their life) One couple (heterosexual), on average in the U.S., makes 2 babies these days. And they make babies, and so on. It's pretty simple math. But nobody likes talking about it. It crosses religious beliefs and peoples rights. With your definition of insane, population will over run the planet until they have to eat Soylent Green.

Hunters grumble about lack of hunting country, gun owners about gun laws, gardeners about water restrictions.... it's all the same issue. Too many people. I made my decision. I feel fine about it.

Just want to make sure I'm following correctly, your decision was to not have kids, right?

If so, that is your right and there is nothing wrong with that. I know plenty of people in high positions that are close to retirement and have had no kids. No regrets. Have fun and live your life! :driving:
