You just gave yourself a raise!

Congrats!

I had a method a while back that I may start trying with my truck payment.. the debt diet.

If you work in an office building or something where you can bring your lunch, or from home where you can cook, every time you get the inclination to eat out when you brought your lunch, take the ~$10 or so you were gonna spend on lunch and transfer the money to the loan and eat what you brought.

Bonus if you only bring "healthy" food you may not really want.

You'll get in better shape financially and physically.

Paid off my 2009 Sierra yesterday, and paid it off early....YEA!
All before hitting 100,000 miles.....barely.

Good deal.....Do yourself a favor and don't go out and get a new truck. Keep the one you just paid off and enjoy the extra cash you will have with no truck payment.

yup, and just put that payment worth of cash into saving and if you get the urge in a few years you'll be almost there.
