Raggdoll's 15' SLE Z71 Quick Silver Metallic Kodiak Edition

Lovin' being back in a truck!!! It's been over 4 years since I sold my 08' Sierra, which I bought new. The 15 is pretty much the same trim level, but man, the advancements in ride, sound and technology is amazing.

 

Here it is the from last Thursday when I picked it up at the dealer...

The dealer installed really high quality plate covers, but the advertising on it was a little over the top, so I simply blacked out some of it...

So, added a BakFlip G2, and mounted the GMC badging under the hood...

I removed the front fender Z71 4x4 emblem, then added a little colour...

 

 

 

Still deciding where to put it, but it's not going back to the original spot...

Removed the SLE emblem from the right side tailgate, and relocated the Z71 4x4 emblem there.

 

I like it, plus the red insetting goes nice with the red accent package I'm trying to achieve, i.e. front tow hooks, callipers, GMC logo etc...

Modded my Husky mats to an OEM look...

New 22 GM Chrome accessories rims on Bridgestone 285/45's. Decided against the Torque Thrusts...

 

First, some prep

 

 

and then some accent colour

 

 

and then painted the barrels semi gloss black to help "pop" the chrome
