2015 truck interior and products help

Recommended Posts

I need some help. What products do you use to clean and condition the vinyl/pleather/plastic on the doors, dashboard? They make leather cleaner for the seats. But the door material is not the same.

Clorox wipes. Safe, efficient, cheap and they really work great.

Will not harm/damage leather, vinyl or plastic interior components.

I use the Meguires leather wipes on all my cars on the inside. I've used it on vinyl, leather, plastic, dashs and pretty much anything else on the inside. It smells good, but sometimes can give off a bit of a glare in the windshield. Plus 2 wipes and you can do the entire inside and it lasts quite a long time. When dust gets on it just use a microfiber cloth and that's it till the end of summer and you need to do it again (possibly).

I use this for the dash and doors: doesn't leave a sheen behind which I like and has uv protectant in it: http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotive/products/g13616-quik-interior-detailer%E2%84%A2/

I use this for the leather seats, doesn't leave them shiny and is made for vinyl or leather, since we have coated leather it works great and makes the seats look brand new. Very impressed with it : http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-protectant-plus.html

I'm a big fan of the 3D car care products - very reasonably priced and environmentally friendly (which translates to no harsh chemicals). I use their product called Liquid Leather on the dash and seats - works great. Has a nice clean smell and absorbs into the leather/dash so it never looks or feels greasy. http://www.3dproducts.com/detailing-chemicals/dressings-protectants/liquid-leather-cleans-and-conditions-interior-leather/

They also have the best tire dressing IMO. Never slings, is water based, makes the tires look new/clean not shiny.
