color schemes for deep ocean blue

I just got a new 2015 1500 Lt in the deep ocean blue metallic. Stuck between going chrome or black on running boards, rims, ect. Anyone seen good stuff on this color?

I think it would look killer with chrome. But not too much, don't want it over bearing. Chrome wheels and running boards and door handles, remove door trim all together

Don't know how to post pics yet but I have the big chrome grille is why I leaning that way too. Wish I could find fender flares paint matched

Yeah paint matched fender flares would look good. Actually color matched door handles as well. Chrome mirror caps and wheels. Chrome grille. Will look killer!!

Chrome if you have chrome handles. Black if you're color matched.

Looks good raw but I have the full chrome honeycomb grill

I plan to color match grill some day too, so my choice was easy.

 

If you don't like the full chrome grill, there are overlays or you can replace the inserts.

Anyone know if gm still has issues with the body molding/door trim still coming off after time or should I just remove it now.

I would remove it now just to get that really clean look. Plus it makes the truck easier to wax

I did notice they went with a thinner molding , maybe 1 inch tall since my last truck that was about 3 inches tall

Yup. Realized the same thing.y dads truck is an 09 and my other truck is an 02. Both 3 inches tall. These new 1 inch tall moldings look MUCH cleaner than the older models

Yep my 02 has the black plascit molding. So hard to wax the truck then shine up the black plastic after. Good thing I'll be selling that beast before long. Its gunna be hard getting rid of it.

Don't you know it. I've listed mine 3 times and have backed out every time. I've put too much work into mine to let it go lol
