Are these people retarded....or what?

I work in a two story building complex with other business's, similar to a strip mall type building.

One of the tenants here is mobile medical shuttle. They pick up people for hospital appointments and such. They have about 10 Ford E-350 vans.

Now they usually park at the far end of the parking lot to allow business customers access to the closest parking spots, and then of course there are a few Handicapped parking spots.

Today, as I look out the window, a driver of one of the vans parks in the Handicap spot and gets out and walks to the elevator and is waiting to go upstairs to their office.

I opened our door and told her she couldn't park there.( yes it was a she!) "That is for Handicap people."

Well, she grumbled something under her breath and went and moved the van as I went back into our office.

A couple of minutes later, I looked out the window and their was a van painted the same way, parked in the other Handicapped spot and that same lady was standing behind it talking on the cell phone.

I thought...."What the heck did she do....pull into one of the other spots.

Well, come to find out another driver had parked in another Handicapped spot and the lady was telling him he needed to move his van.

Are these people retarded or what?

Well, they better not park there again, or I am going to call the number on the side of the van, and tell them to get their butt over there and move it or I'll call a tow truck.

It seems people are just breaking all kinds of laws just because there are no cops around.

Yes some people have a serious lack of "common" sense. Just yesterday I followed and then passed a state owned vehicle with a "How's my driving" sticker on the back. As I was passing the car (going too slow, weaving in lane, etc) the driver was texting or whatever on their cell phone. If I had the time I would have gotten back behind them and jotted down the plate number and then later call the "How's my driving" number...wow!
