You've got me considering a 2 hour drive....

Haha! We went to the one at the Speedway. Not the same as the original at 17th and Brooklyn, but still pretty dang good!

I'm a huge carolina BBQ fan. And not just because I'm overweight.

Up here in Atlanta most folks do pulled pork with a vinegar based sauce. It's not bad, but I'm a mustard fan myself.

In Columbia SC there's a place called maurices thats real good, and down in Charleston there's Bessingers.

There's also a little place I love called Bobby's in clearwater SC.

Man.. now I really do need a road trip...

That restaurant is on my bucket list..

There sauce is amazing. I saw them featured on one of the BBQ shows, and had to order there sauces. I ended up getting a case of the (12) and we ate every one! Awesome marinating sauces.. and dipping!

I am a fan of vinegar based sauces, which Bryant's is. That goes for Gate's BBQ also.

Most of the KC BBQ restaurants/sauces are sweet, which I don't like, KC Masterpiece, Oklahoma Joe's, Famous Dave's, etc.

Gate's and Bryant's for me!

I definitely have to get out there to AB's. Heard a lot about them on the BBQ forums. Everybody is on the BBQ forums...right? :dunno: I try to hit the well known local BBQ joints when traveling.

The best BBQ joint in Torrance is my house. :P

I'm a fan of all types of bbq. I love to try different styles. I do have an aversion to sweet sauce tossed on the pulled pork and mixed in. I like my pork sandwich with a bit of a strong mustard sauce put on the meat and apple butter on a toasted roll. Those two flavors collide on your tongue and the smokey pork comes thru like Morgan Fairchild in a nighty, then combine to give you that "yes! Yes! Yes!" experience Meg got from whatever that diner was spooning out.

Awesome! When football season starts I bar-b-q every Sunday. My 4 boys, daughter-in-laws and grandkids all come over for wings, ribs, brisket, burnt ends, etc. I do love to BBQ!

Here's another little secret you might want to try: (Haha... givin' away my secrets!)
