Drove a 2015 C7 Z06 Corvette today...WOW (Pictures)

I was working on one of my customers machines in WV and got talking to the doctor.....he bought a 2015 C7 Z06 Corvette, black with red interior and Z07 package. He asked if I had ever driven one yet I said; "no" and he said you wanna take it for a drive? I said; heck yeah!!!

 

Guy's this vette drove like a dream.....sooooo much power; 650hp / 650lb-ft.....I drove it in sport mode which opened the exhaust baffles all the way...nice sound at idle. I got it to 140 on the interstate like it was nothing with so much left in the throttle. Those Michelin tires are very sticky, drove through some twisty back-roads.....wow it stuck to the road like you wouldn't believe! You punch the throttle...you better make sure your head is against the seat because it felt like it'll break your neck! The quality in the interior sure has came a long way...very impressed. Everything right where you need it. Clutch had a nice solid feel and took hardly any effort. Very short throw / close ratio transmission....takes some practice if your not use to it! I can not say enough good things about it....I was very impressed, I have a bias opinion because I'm a Corvette guy though! Very few people will have the opportunity to drive this supercar! Italy has Ferrari....America has Corvette and this is the best / most power one yet.

 

The doctor just bought it three weeks ago....when I drove it, it had less then 2300 miles. I just could not believe he let me drive his C7 Z06 by myself....if it was mine no one would drive it! Glad he let me drive his, because it sure made my day!!!

Yes you do....he told me he even lets his patients drive it....that's crazy! I'd be more selective who if any I let drive my C7 Z06! You start talking to him about it, I'd bet he'd let you drive it!

Yes it is....the ladies called it the bat-mobile! It screamed to be driven hard...it took everything I threw at it and then some! One of the most awesome cars I've ever driven! Wonderful job GM!!!
