rally edition

Just got my rally a week ago. This package just really appeals to me. I started looking for one about a month ago. They seem to be hard to find. I was under the impression all were crew cabs until we found this one.

It has Rally 1 with all star package. 5.3, 17" wheels , bed liner etc.. I just added the bed cover.

I like your truck. I've only seen DC i have yet to see a 14 rally CC. The only Rally CC ive seen was a 15. Your truck is a lil different than the rallys I've seen. I have never seen one with the 17s or the console. I really like the console. Mine is a 1LT with the Rally 2. IDK what the differences are but I sure wish I had the console. IDK how true it is but I was told the Rally was not an orderable option in 14 that GM released a few to dealer stocks to see how well they would do before making them a full option in 15.

As hemipowered22z noted above, do these taper like the OEM stripes? Could you possibly take a 'top down' picture of your hood so I can see them better?

I am not sure what you are talking about. The outer stripe rides along the leading edge of the hood bulges.

Here is mine, I swapped out the grille and changed the headlight bezels to match. Fender flares and 2.5"/1" leveling kit will be on Wednesday.

I purchased this stripe kit. The vinyl is made by Oracle. It cost me $95 for the flat black hood, and tailgate kit shipped, and $150 to have it installed. Compared to the factory stripes, these are better fitting IMO. The factory stripes do not go to the edge of the hood bulge, where these do. And I noticed the factory tailgate stripes are centered between the bow tie, and edge of the tailgate. I made sure these were spaced to match the hood. Then I added the red pinstripe to make it stand out.

You think this kit would fit on a 2500??

If they use the same hood as the 1500.

The guy who did the install did say that the backing material (The material you pull off after the stripe is installed that keeps everything in place) the guy used was too sticky. But he was impressed with how they fit.

No worries. Looks great! Thanks. Motor size label adds a nice touch. Don't know if I'd advertise the little motor though

LOL. Why not? That little engine propelled the truck to a 15.699 in the 1/4 mile. I say that is very impressive for a V6

Because it's the LITTLE motor and most of the time, (clearly not in this case), people put that stuff on trucks because they want to brag and show how manly they are with their 6.2 or 5.3.

Glad you laughed. I was just giving you a hard time. Still looks great. Maybe you need a bumper sticker that reads "My EcoTec can beat your Hemi".

Mine is not originally a Rally Ed but since I do like the strip option I added it to my 15' LTZ version.

Mine is also not an original Rally edition, 3M vinyl installed by local shop for $100.

IMPALDAKID I really like the rally touch AND the old school style rims. Gotta ask where you got the Vortec stickers for the hood. I am planning to do the rally stripes and accent with the same colors as the Z71 colors.
