Clarkson to be fired from Top Gear

Several of you must have missed (or read from crappy sources) the part that the UK has LAWS demanding certain punishments for physical or verbal assults at the workplace. He HAD to be fired. The Director of BBC stated that when he announced the findings.

Hah. Stupid nanny state rules.

The BBC is so far to the left they're borderline socialist. They hate normal people like Clarkson. If one of their "own" came unglued and roughed up a colleague they'd bury it.

I remember the last time he was on the news about that, he claimed that it was his "Last Warning" but Like i mentioned in my first post; he Did it to himself, and he has nobody to blame but himself. its a shame that Top Gear will never be the same; but as Snake Eyes said: the UK Has Laws regarding Assault (whether it be Physical or Verbal) in the workplace.

Not sure. I watched two episodes when it was new and decided the show was crap.

Ever seen anything from the first 2 seasons of Top Gear UK? I started watching TPUK probably around season 6 or later, if I had started from the beginning first I don't know how long I would have lasted with the UK version even.

I don't mind the US version. It's the second time they've tried to bring it here. US one definitely doesn't have the closeness that the UK one does. First two seasons of UK were pretty bad I'd probably take the first two seasons of US over them. Although season 2 brought James May to replace the other guy so that didn't help since it took them a season just to get used to each other.

When I was in high school "debate class" I would always wrap things up with a good old "WELL F!@# YOU!!" , and maybe a busted lip or two. I thought I had won. :idiot:

BBC has just released information regarding Jeremy Clarkson’s recent departure. Last month, BBC announced Clarkson was let go due to a scuffle with a Top Gear producer.

After many discussions and petitions for Clarkson’s return, the BBC decided to offer the Top Gear veteran one more shot in the car seat. With that, Richard Hammond and James May will also return for another season.

BBC’s director-general Tony Hall released this statement:

It is with great pleasure to welcome back Jeremy Clarkson onto another season of Top Gear. After several meetings with Jeremy and our executive producers, we decided to move forward with our decision.

Yay! Jeremy is back! You did it, Top Gear fans!
