Clarkson may have been controversial on and off the show but he was still good for the show and all 3 guys worked well together. Top Gear will not be the same without him.

Clarkson did it to himself; he acted like a Diva when he didn't get his steak and fries, and now he, and Top Gear's 5 Million fans are paying the price. although I saw on my Comcast Guide they will be showing the last 2 episodes of Season 22 next monday (likely as an apology to the fans, as well as finish up the remainder of Clarkson's current contract.)

Too bad they didn't get to fix the mess between clarkson and the producer he had issues with. I can't imagine anyone else hosting the show.

Please the show was as good as ever this season, really he gave a producer a bloody lip, he didn't go kicking puppy's down the road or beating on children. Him and another adult got into a pissing match and someone got a fat lip, completely over blown and an apology should of been enough imo!

Regardless the 3 of them will be picked up once their no compete clause is done, the shows is far to popular for it to go away.

He slapped someone. The BBC is just run by a bunch of sissies who've been looking for a reason to sack him. Without the three of them the BBC Top Gear will just be three idiots hosting a show no one cares about. Sort of like the US version. lol

has the History Channel Cancelled TGUSA? because I haven't seen ANY traces of a Season 5 AT ALL.

It was the end of last year. Odd times too i believe. But it doesnt fit in with the aliens and digging for gold crap there

Why does anyone care what clarkson did, it wasn't overly obscene? He along with his two colleagues provided some of the best entertainment to date.

I hope they go indie and start a YouTube channel.

Several of you must have missed (or read from crappy sources) the part that the UK has LAWS demanding certain punishments for physical or verbal assults at the workplace. He HAD to be fired. The Director of BBC stated that when he announced the findings.

They will need funding for that kind of budget, we aren't talking Leno, from what I gathered from the show they didn't make Hollywood money. I remember one show I think there was a conversation about clarkson actually being willing to sell his recent exotic "so he could get _____", sounded like owning both wasn't an option. And when they mention their personal exotic, its a 200 or 300k car, not a P1 or LaFerrari.
