Announcement was supposed to come today. But the other two have stepped forward and stated they will not present the show without him. So either BBC will take him back or Top Gear UK will die and Netflix will snatch up the 3 for a new original show

Good riddance and hopefully the show is canceled once and for all, it peaked years ago IMO.

 

And someone who is that disrespectful and arrogant deserves to be "not renewed" and even more.

I like him. He tells it like it is. One reason why the US version blows is because they don't have the freedom to do that here....ironic huh?

Jeremy Clarkson is a pompous, bombastic ass. I'm glad he's getting canned. Maybe that will teach him to refine his behaviour.

The press releases said no one denied, even Clarkson himself, that he punched the guy for non-legit reason. It was on on the job act, So he needed to be punished.

 

I read one article where one of the three said he might still come back even and so it doesn't sound like that's final yet the others will leave. Will they give up their millions just to side with the guy that got in trouble for throwing a fit?

It seems like they have other options if they are willing to. But they also know the shoe will suffer without clarkson and their time on Top Gear will not last

It can continue, they just need to find the right fit. It was like when Steve Carrel left The Office. It stunk for a while but they hit their stride again eventually and the show was great again before it ended.
