K1500-the only things ugly on that 1500 are those Firestones!

Your new ride looks good-the new front end looks better to me now than it did when it first came out. The new dashboard is a big improvement; looks almost identical to the one in my wife's Trailblazer.

Enjoy the new truck. Skip the toolbox and buy new tires first! :thumb: (just kidding! )

I think that the crapstones are gonna stay on until they are worn out .

BTW this was a dealer demo vehicle so its not really new it has 4000 miles on it

And I cant say its all mine because my g/f traded her grand am so shes going to be seeing almost all of the time behind the wheel which is fine because i cant get used to only 2 pedals.

I put 6500 down (3 times as much as they gave us for her car) and my name is on the registration so I think thats enough to call it mine

Actually, the 03’s are growing on me…slowly. I had a same truck color and all except in 2wd form last week from National Rental Car when I was in Phoenix. I ran that truck ragged around Phoenix to Flagstaff then to Lake Havasu. That little truck laid some nifty one tire fire burnout marks too. I enjoyed the new interior upgrades but the window switches are horrendous.

Whoo hoo! I see a lever on the floor too!. I am proud of you man for avoiding Autotrac. :thumb:

I took it around today and couldnt figure out how the #### to get it into 4L . had it in N and couldnt get it out I had to put the tranny in neutral then it came out

In my 97 i can go through all of them smooth with the clutch depressed and /or trany in neutral

Yeah, on all of the 4wd Automatic trannies I have driven it had to be in Neutral to get it in low. But I like my jimmy cause I can be going 5 mph stick it in Neutral and plop it in lo if need be, my bronco wouldn't do that...

Nice truck, now to make it look better...LIFT IT!!!!

Thats a nice looking truck. As you may know I liek the 03 front end. I say get rid of the firestones while you can still get something for them. the extra height you get with some 285's really makes the truck look good and compliments the design of the new front end. Crank the tortion bars a little and add the step bars. Then you'll be even more proud of the truck and your girlfriend will too.
