It's the touring muffler I believe.. I got it for a killer deal. It has a nice deep rumble. It's not loud or annoying by any means. No drone as this is the GM version that has the flapper valve and bypass tube. I'm happy with it. If your looking for something that's going to turn everyone's head as you drive down the street, this is not the kit for you .. But if you just want to be able to hear your truck running without waking up everyone , then it is lol

I'm jealous, I want this but don't want to spend a grand.

Added a gloss black tail gate handle cover.

I have to know, how do you like this? I see them on ebay and think they can't be that great since they're stick on. I like your taste, so gotta know what you think.

I'm really looking for a little rumble when I start up and a little growl when I get on it. I see the shopchevyparts website is selling it for $1000, not too bad

I was skeptical about the 30 dollar cover, but I am actually impressed with it. It fits very well, came with alcohol pad, and promoter. You really can't tell its a cover unless you are right up on it and look very closely. The finish looks good in person too.

  • 2 months later...

And showed the wife's jeep some loving and stuffed on some toyo at2's in 275/55/20 and got it tinted up 5% all around... Totally unrelated, I know lol.. The toyo tires are a lot louder than I thought they would be from all the reviews and they have almost a mud tire type vibration at slow speeds like 10-20 mph

  • 4 weeks later...

Changed the truck up a little bit. Got painted handles and mirror caps, got a killer deal on some stock all terrain 20's, and put 275/65-20 good year duratracs on today! Going to try some gloss vinyl on the chrome trim later.

I leveled the truck today at work with a RC 2 inch level.

And I got my first dent and scratch that I am oh so not happy about.

image_20.jpg

Long story short, I helped out a co worker pull his car trailer in the shop and trusted he knew what he was doing hooking it up, turns out he didn't pay attention to the fact I had a 2 inch ball in the hitch and the trailer was a 2 5/8 I believe.. But he took responsibility and will be paying for the repair
