Who makes the best programmer for 8.1L

What's up Forum,

I am in the market to get a programmer for my truck 02 8.1L/Allison combo. I know that basically, right know there is no way to get rid of torque management for this combo, but wanted to get some input about who has the best for this truck.

It appears that buying a programmer for the 8.1 allis

on is really expensive since it doesn't do half of what they do for other setups. I am hoping that someone gets hold of the perimeters from allison one of these days. I would really like to drive the 8.1 w/o any torgue management.

Does Hypertech make one?

I would expect that there would be a good market for it. Every diesel person I've known always want's more power..

Hands down....Superchips, I had a Jet stage 2 chip in my 8.1, not in the same league. Superchip does program for allison, well worth the $$$ :thumb:

GM Tech II? expensive, but it is the best. ;)
