City_Slicker
I am doing the 3" body lift. Performance accessories seems the best way to go. I dont want to mess up that caddilac ride!!
chevyhd
When shopping for a lift go for quality over price, you don't need to skimp on a cheap kit. I recommend looking into the CST kit. Reservoirs will cost $180-200 a piece, so you are talking over a $1000 to do just the fronts with dual shock hoops. They really don't do much for a street vehicle other than the looks. Running duals out back is overkill, just one per side is enough for the rear. The extra oil capacity you get by running a reservoir and running multiple shocks keeps them cooler for extreme offroad use. If you're thinking about running them, get the Bilsteins. Dihappy
Id recommend a ProComp Lift or SuperLift brand lift. Of course there are others, and most all are great, quality lifts. The CST is a high quality lift but overkill IMO if your not always offroad. Peace!
gnet158
I have the same truck. I just got her lifted with a '6 RCD lift kit & a '3 body lift. The main reason I went with RCD rathor than Pro Comp or Fabtech was word of mouth. Everyone I talked to said to go for the RCD lift kit. You don't want to skimp on the lift kit. Also the RCD kit comes with Belisten (sp) shocks which are really good too. Call different shops get their pricing on the lift you want along with wheels & tires. But for the wheels & tires also call your local tire shops and get pricing from them. I did & saved $80 per wheel this way (the lift shop did a price match). I don't think you can get the dual resevoir shocks on a 2WD. But with enough money I guess anythings possible. I can't wait to see pictures of your truck if you do get them. Good luck.
