I didn't buy another full size Chevy truck for the turning radius lol. Plus I've driven 18 wheelers a little bit and drove a tandem axle flatbed with a 24' bed for 2 1/2 years total so a pickup is nothing for me to maneuver. You should see some of the places I had to put that truck. It was also the height of an 18 wheeler and a lot of branches lost the war with it when going down trails lol.

One of the coolest things I did with my old 98 was when I went to the trucking school. I went into the gravel parking lot and all the spots were taken except the very first one as you pull it. So I cut the wheel all the way to the left and power braked it. The rear pivoted around while the front stayed and I got into the spot no problem. The front was lined up with the spot. One of the new guys looked at me like I was crazy, I just grinned and walked inside lol. That was when I was 20 and I was still in the burnout phase lol.

Wish they put the hemi in them.

Funny you mention that. I was reading an article earlier about a 6.4L Hemi conversion for the Wranglers. It brought it somewhere in the range of 470HP from what the article said. I would love to have that king of power in a little Jeep. I don't remember the name of the company but it was an entire package, not just the larger hemi engine.

The way things are headed with fuel mileage regulations and all of that 'green' stuff, I doubt Chrysler will ever have a Wrangler leave the assembly line with a Hemi that is available for the public.

You probably saw an AEV rig. Their swaps look factory, they're closely aligned with Jeep. You can even send your Jeep there after its built for a lift or other work.

I probably won't do a build thread here but last week I also added LED head lamps and fog lamps. These are totally new units, housings and all.

Coming soon, wench, lift and 40" krawlers?? :jester:

A lift is pretty far down the list. I figure if my skill exceeds the abilities of this the first thing will be upgraded armor before I commit to lifting it.

As for the wench, I am single so if you know any single ladies in south-central Michigan, feel free to set me up.
