McGaughy's lift set at 9", bilstein 5100 shocks, 37x12.5r22 Toyos. I am very happy with the lift kit, no problems with it so far and would recommend it. I haven't run any of the other kits on the market so I can't compare it to any of them. I only have a little bit of rubbing when the wheel is fully turned. I am planning on upgrading to cognito UCA's and coilovers by the end of the year.

Nice truck man. What size and offset are your wheels, how much does it rub or what kind of cutting have you done, and did you re gear it? Thanks bro

BDS or CST and never look back! RC and McGaughy are plagued with problems.

What problems can it have? It's a bunch of steel brackets that bolt in place.

I have scoured the internet and hear this "RCX sucks" garbage all the time from people running another brand. Yet I haven't found anyone that runs a RCX that says it sucks. All the reviews of the RCX 5" lift that I can find (whether it's a knuckle lift or bracket lift) from people that actually install them on their trucks is very positive.

I just read the instructions for the RCX 5" bracket lift and it's very straight forward, although all that cutting that has to be done certainly makes me pause. The knuckle lift doesn't interest me because of the increase in track width.

So... I should've done more research on Mcgauphy's before purchasing my lift. I recently bought the basic economy kit (7in) and have heard mostly bad reviews about their struts and bushing. Since I'm deployed right now (US ARMY) I had my kit shipped to my place but when the boxes showed up they looked destroyed. Should I go ahead buy new struts and bushing in place of the originals? Simply because I need my truck everyday and don't want to deal with going in and out of shops paying for labor.
