GasHog369
So since the day i started on ebay 15 years ago, I have always been a curtious buyer / seller. When i sell something i list as many details as possible so there are no surprises to my buyer. And not to jepordize my perfect feedback! And to me, being a curtious buyer is just as important! When i buy something, I pay immediately! Mainly so i can get my item quicker. 3 days ago i had 2 model / dicast cars listed on ebay. I first had them as buy it now for a month. Tons of watchers. No one bought. After that i listed as auction format, same amount of watchers. The last day of the auction i got a bunch of bids, and the last couple of seconds one bidder won both as he sniped them from under the other bidders literally with 1 sec. left on the auction. Now if this guy was at the computer / or his phone then, why the F didnt he pay right then. Its now 3 days later and hes holding up my $ . This wasnt a small chunk either.. $85 to be exact! In the old days, you could give negative feedback when the buyer deserved it if he didnt pay. You cant even do that now. I will wait it out for now and hope he dosent stiff.. SouthernSilveradoGuy85
I've had things like that happen. When I've bought I paid right then rather it was an auction or a "Buy it now". But, when I've sold things I always say they have up to 5 days to pay. I've waited 3-4 days before. You need to add that in or ebay will side with the buyer since you didn't have any cutoff of how long you'd wait. Before ebay changed a lot of things whenever I had a Buy it now item I had it set where it's still available to someone else until the person paid for it. So you could commit to buy but it wasn't theirs until they paid. Then ebay changed a lot of stuff around and I don't even see that option anymore. The only stuff I sell on ebay is my own things when I need the money or something. The most I sold was a bunch of 1:18 scale diecast, but the only ones I kept were my NASCAR diecast. I regret selling all of my movie car diecast, especially the General Lee ones. I even had the black version. Anyways, sometimes they have to wait until they get paid or something, but I always try to communicate. I remember once someone said they couldn't pay me within that window, but told me when they would which was an extra day or 2 past the 5 days. I just said sure and made sure to tell them that if not paid by the end of that day I would offer it to the next highest bidder or put it back up (can't remember if it was an auction or Buy it now). I only have a little over 200 feedbacks but I'm still at 100%.

RyanbabZ71
I recently bought a hot wheels at off ebay. Paid within 30 minutes of winning the bid. After 5 days with no shippig info I sent a nice message asking when it would ship. Got a snippy remark it already did ship. 5 mins later received a message your item has shipped. Obviously he didn't ship it. Thanks for reminding me I need to leave feedback haha Ryan
&CDFiXER%
I have probably 1/3 the amount of feedback as a seller I should have. I have sold @ 200 items. Sent all but two with some form of tracking. Guess which two items "never arrived".... Have had a handful of sellers over the years cancel the auctions won because they do not have the item on hand.(?!) When I complain, I am always told the same thing "what do you expect, most online sellers don't keep things in stock". ebay sides with the seller, of course. BS. It is an auction to me that means you HAVE the item. Had one seller I left neutral feedback for because he took two weeks to ship the item (stated time 2-3 business days), not the item took two weeks to ship. For two weeks the seller ignored all attempts at contacting including their listed phone number with eBay (disconnected). The seller waited two weeks (actually 14+ BUSINESS days, so 18+ days later) before shipping as proved by the USPS tracking. The seller went nuts on me. Tried to get eBay to give me the boot! Finally we "agreed" to eBay removing our feedback entries. My neutral feedback for the seller and negative feedback the seller left for me due to my neutral feedback. Said I wasn't patient enough. Pointed out to eBay their bad contact phone number and address that turned out to be a postal drop box office. Nothing from eBay on that. This was years ago, looks worse dealing with eBay now.
