choosing a truck

#2 as the first choice you will find very few that are not rusted into a pile of red dust and certainly not under 100k in miles. Not a dodge fan especially older models with lots of miles on them, they never age well. So my choice would be a 03-05 gmt 800 with a 5.3 engine.

Thanks for all the responses. I ruled out the #3 option dodge. I have found a 95 k1500 ext cab under 100k for miles I am going to check out. Just to make sure you can safely fit a rear facing or front facing car seat in the back seat of this years truck correct? Are the back seats similar to the 1999 - 2006 models? Just checking before I go any further with the vehicle

Did 95 have the 3rd door or do you have to fold the front seats to get in the back? That could be an issue long term with a child seat. Personally I'd get sick of it

I do believe 97 was the start of the 3rd door

I think so too. I don't think the older ones had an opening rear door...
