Safety chains on new Sierra 2500

Anyone else having a problem hooking up safety chains when towing with a 2015 Sierra 2500? I have the factory hitch, but it doesn't seem to have any good place to hook up the safety chains from the trailer. It has some holes around the hitch, but the hooks don't really fit through them.

They are a pain in the ass. Go to a hardware supply or tractor supply and get some D rings or Clevis whatever you want to call it b

Agreed they are small and it takes some effort to get them hooked on because of the hole size. This is one place where I like my 2004 Silverado better.

This is what I would do. I see a lot of truck with these rings since the receiver's rings are small and cumbersome.
