Post photos of your 2500/3500 HD's

Recommended Posts

It's just a whole lot more truck than my old 1500.

Nice looking truck. The way I use a truck, towing & hauling there's no way I'd go back to a half ton.

I'll post a couple of pics of my truck in the spring when its clean.

Thank you! It'll look better (in my opinion) after a few basic mods. I know what you mean about not going back to a 1500. My dad has been driving 2500HD's since 2004, and they have always done "truck stuff" so much better than my half tons. And, the new truck only seems to be getting about 2-3 mpg less than my old one...and it's not even broken in yet.

I've got multiple PMs regarding the TPMS system, so I wanted to share. It's just an aftermarket TPMS system that uses special tire valve caps that measure the pressure. There are also versions that are installed inside tire (like the factor units), but why bother. The only important detail to look for is the ma pressure range of the sensor. Some of the kits can't measure beyond 70 PSI, so be careful to that. These below are good up to 120 PSI. FYI, you can set alarms for low and high pressure ranges as you wish.

I got them on eBay for $58 shipped (made an offer):

Nice rig. Did you buy the trailer directly @ the factory in Boonville or from a dealer? Been past it on my tris to Maine.

Thanks for the compliment . I had it extended 2' - from 22' x 24 + the 5' V nose....Holds the 4 sleds conveniently.

Trailer Outlet in Tilton NH right off 93 . Joe is the owner. www.traileroutlet.net I have visited the Boonville store and spoke with the female owner. Nice lady.

No doubt for me traileroutlet is a bit out of the way ( 5 hours from NYC & 4 hours from our Place in Pittsburg NH ) but he has never let me down. Fair on price and stands behind his work. Most important I am of the opinion he is very knowledgable about setting up trailers. This is my third from him as I have upgraded throughout the years.

Do you snowmobile ? Maine ?

Stay safe.

Here are a few pictures of her resting today...We will put her to work in a few weeks when we return to Canada....She is a work horse...

2015 LTZ Z71 - leveled, 35x12.50 18 on 18x9 +18mm offset

Did u have any issues with rubbing? Truck looks good! Do you think wheels with a 0 offset would still clear with those 35s?

What offset are those wheels? Looks great!

3 inch lift in the front and 1 inch in the rear, 18x9 anthem rims and 285/75/18 toyo at extreams! The pic does very little for the truck, i belive this is about the most perfect setup I've done. Love it

Thank you. I do not have any rubbing at all. I did trim a small corner where the front bumper and valiance meet on the front. It was really close and I was nervous it may catch. I think, at least with this tire, the +18 might be as far as I'd push it. It's possible a +12 would work, but I'm guessing a 0 offset would be too much. I see in your profile that you have a 1500, just wanted to be sure you know this is a 2500.

Hey thanks! Yeah I traded the 1500 in on a new duramax. Trying to stuff the tallest tire I can with 18x9s 0 offset.

I hate to be a pest, but do you have anymore pics of your truck? Maybe some shots showing how far the tires stick out? Might go with a more positive offset if I can clear 35s

Traded my 2012 Silverado 1500 extended cab for a new 2016 2500HD crew cab. Only have one decent picture right now, which was taken inside the dealership the day I bought it. The weather has been crumby ever since. Will be starting a build thread soon, as I have a few mild mods planned. Loving the new truck so far! I should have bought a 2500HD a long time ago!

Love it. I'm chomping at the bit to "upgrade" from my 1500. I really like the bright red, but this has me looking at silver again!
