Post photos of your 2500/3500 HD's

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

This is my first post after hanging around the forum for a few weeks. Here's my 2016 LTZ 2500HD. So far I've added Amp running boards, BDS 6.5 lift with Fox upgrade and Toyo 35x12.5 RT's on stock rims. The lift kit is turned down to accommodate the 35's instead of 37's and to give better CV angles. I've also covered the gold bow-ties with 3M carbon fiber vinyl to match the tungsten metallic paint better. Next upgrade will be adding a 10" Sundown sub and RF amp to help boost the factory Bose system.

That looks killer man.

My first post here and I thought it would be fitting if it was a pic of my new rig. Leveled with 18" ion wheels and the new cooper stt pro's.

What offset are your wheels?

So I think I'm gonna pull the trigger and do the 6 inch fabtec lift. Picked out my tires, going with Toyo open country r/t 35x12.5r20 and going to run the hostile sprocket wheels. Still need some input on wheel width. Should I run 20x10 with -19 offset or 20x12 with -44 offset? Please give me your opinions. I do like the wider stance of the 20x12 but I'm not sure it will fit.

I like the fogs. I did something similar with mine...don't remember the exact color though...I think 4300.

Did you do anything with the regular lights? Might be the pic but they look bright.

Still running the stock HID's for the headlights. Yeah for sure...looks really bright in the pic! Fogs are led 5000K. The match is pretty good.

2016 Silverado 2500 HD LTZ 4WD.

Picked it up about a month ago.

I want to level it and put tires on it that are a bit more aggressive.

I'm thinking Nitto Trail Grapplers. I had these on my F-250 and loved them.

I see guys going to 18": wheels instead of stock.

Is there an advantage to this?

My 18's ride pretty nice for an HD truck. I run about 50psi in them when not loaded and this makes a significant difference.

I'm planning to move to 20's and intend to run similar pressure in those too, in hopes that the ride will not suffer dramatically beyond what it is like now.

Any of these trucks that you run the full load pressure on will ride awful when empty. Regardless of tire size.
