Post photos of your 2500/3500 HD's

Have you thought about removing the lower valance? That is the plastic piece under the bumper.

I have. I recently saw a post somewhere about removing the valance and it's effect on engine airflow. I guess I need to do some more research on that before taking it off. I do think it would look better without it.

I seen that post where someone brought that up, you will research everywhere you can but you will never find anything/anyone that will say that a GM HD truck runs any warmer with it removed.

I managed a huge fleet of them that not only had them removed but also had plow mounts installed making it even worse, these trucks were pulled to death and never had one run warm.

Finally got my new mirrors installed, it looks so much better! Now all the other trucks don't make fun of its tiny mirrors :D

Pick of my new 2500HD!! Delivery room of the dealership.

Just picked it up Thursday night. Ordered it on 2/14....wow was that fast!! (Helps that I'm only 6 hours from the Flint Plant!)

Can't wait to play with it all weekend.... :)

I guess I need to update my Forum handle too. The 2007 was a great truck....zero problems and 124k of very hard service.....the 2015 has big shoes (tires!) to fill.

Just got it. After reading quite a bit on this forum, I plan on:

  • Getting rid of the chrome trim under the bottom of the side windows.
  • Crank torsion bars around 1.5 inches. I like a little rake in my ride.
  • 295 Cooper STMaxx, or the new 285 Toyo RT's
  • Full Ranch Hand front and rear bumpers.
  • Already had a BackFlip F1 bed cover put on.

Just brought home my new 2500 SLT.

I had to order my truck to get the options I wanted. I ordered late Jan. 2015 and picked it up yesterday. It will be going in next week to have to step rails added but otherwise I love it...

Nice! The double cab, long bed looks good! I don't see very many of those around here. I've considered one myself. Don't need the crew cab, but would be nice to have the 8' bed sometimes.

I know,

I looked for about 5 months, And all I could find were 6 1/2 Ft. beds. I ended up ordering just so I could get what I wanted.

8Ft. beds are great in my opinion, Not sure why they don't make more of them .
