I believe you have Norfolk Southern and CSX in your area. Both are good companies. If you are willing to move you can get on with any railroad. Every railroads website is how they hire people nowadays. Go to the companies you are interested in and see what's available. The Signal department is the highest paying department for field work. Most any company will allow you to transfers departments once you get hired. So really you could apply for any job and then do an internal transfer between departments.

I'm actually applying for the Diesel Mechanic Job at CSX's Radnor Yard in Nashville; (and Hoping to make it my Lifelong Career) from what i've seen on CSX's Career site, personnel in the Mechanical Department get paid pretty well too, even the Trainees!

Not something that will last if you get hurt once. I tried it for a little while after i had hurt my back. Didnt take long for me to want to do something else. My brother right now is a Kenworth dealer mechanic. Most of his job revolves around DPF systems

USPS?

I'll stick with the Orange and Purple.

They've been treating me pretty good.

My mistake....in my defense, I do have a slight color deficiency in the red/green area... :dunno::crackup:

I work with your guys occasionally. Mostly maintenance guys. It's usually when they have some kind of compliance crisis.

Since June of last year, we've started helping Aircraft Maintenance with some of their training needs. Mostly by using some of our PC based simulation software to help troubleshoot maintenance issues on the aircraft.

Unique individuals, those guys...
